The six step ‘Young Ambassadors Scheme’ will run as part of the first year of the Corporate Management degree offered by Northumbria University. The Scheme started in November 2009 and will develop the students’ interview and presentation skills as well as giving them tasks to manage when they participate in projects run by Newcastle EBP.

The aim of the scheme is to encourage young business students to take an invested interest in their own future as well as leading the way for disadvantaged (or less advantaged) students. The young business students will therefore become mentors – training the younger students while at the same time developing their own skills in business and communications.
